PGR Health Foods was established to import quality gluten free products in 2003.

Phil Buckingham who along with Gavin Edwards are the founders has a daughter Lucy who was diagnosed as a Coeliac at 18 months, from the moment she was diagnosed Phil did all he could to find the best gluten free foods available so they could eat as a family. They excluded pasta from their diet for 12 years, because they were dissatisfied with the lack of texture, taste and quality of existing gluten free pasta. Whilst on holiday in the USA they discovered Rizopia Organic Brown Rice Pasta. They now enjoy pasta again as a family.

PGR Health Foods are inspected and approved as an organic food importer by the Organic Food Federation and by DEFRA (Department of Environment Food and Rural Affairs). These bodies ensure that Rizopia's manufacturing process and its suppliers of rice are fully audited to be organic.

Rizopia Organic Brown Rice Pasta is manufactured by Rizopia Inc based in Toronto Canada . It is a family company specialising in producing the finest gluten free pasta.

Rizopia production facility is totally wheat, gluten, egg, dairy, nut and corn free.
